Historic Castle
The Castle is located in St. Martin near Lofer, an idyllic village in the wonderful region of the Salzburger Land. Surrounded by the fascinating mountains it is centrally located between Salzburg, Kitzbühel and Zell am See.
Enjoy the exciting view from the castle to the mountains like the emporer Wilhelm II and the emporer from Vienna did. The region is not only wellknown for its dreamlike views, but also for lots of summer- and winter activities.
The majestic rooms feature 37 separate suites of various sizes. On the ground floor there is the castle restaurant with a Knight’s room. The imposing entrance halls and the marble staircase, famous for its design and of great architectural and historical interest, have been maintained in their original magnificent splendour. The individual suites, from 31 m² to over 100 m² lead onto gorgeous corridors with marble columns, ornate stucco ceilings and ceiling frescos, unbeatable in their elegant harmony and colourings.
The marvellous stucco ornamentation and ceiling frescos are carried on into the suites, which, additionally, have been designed with valuable furniture, true to the style of the castle. The exclusive interior decorations fit in perfectly with the whole character of the castle.
