Gwyneth Paltrow’s Tribeca Penthouse
This 4,400-square-foot Tribeca penthouse was designed in 2008 by Roman & Williams. Roman and Williams completed a total stripdown to stud and redesign of what was fundamentally a drywall box (with good light). Designing and coordinating all interior architecture and custom decoration of the project with sheer energy and completely rule of everything mundane. With light use of mouldings, glassy paint and fuzzy nap zones they embedded this Tribeca apartment with gravitas, care and luxury making it suitable for both entertaining and for the needs of a young family. The kitchen features lots of white marble, but it also has long, flowy white curtains framing the floor-to-ceiling windows that soften things up a bit. The Paltrow clan, which includes her husband and Coldplay-frontman Chris Martin and their two small kids Moses and Apple, bought the 3-bedroom Laight Street pad in 2007. The family also has high-profile neighbors: Oscar-winner Meryl Streep lives in the same building!
